In 2003, we began working with national advertising agencies to help their local advertisers find options outside the "traditional" media. As time went on, one thing became apparent. Small business owners had a distinct disadvantage as compared to their large corporate counterparts. Between minimum requirements, the cost of graphic design and finding the right sources to help, local advertising could be completely overwhelming. In 2006, we began working with small businesses to find out what would help. We asked questions about their business, how their time was allocated and what they expected to achieve through marketing.
